Sharadiya Navratha has begun. Today is the third day of Dashain. Those who worship and worship Chandraghanta have dedicated themselves to the goddess Sharan and are doing it. Dashain means Vijaya Dashami, a great festival of Hindus. Under Vijaya Dashami, after the worship of the ninth form of the goddess from Pratipada to Navami Tithi, people will happily participate in Dashain on the day of Dashami. According to traditional beliefs, on the day of Dashain, Goddess Durga is worshipped and the goddess is bid farewell. On the day of Dashami, the journey of the goddess is considered to be the time of departure. Departure — For auspicious work. It is believed that the tradition of Shubhya Yatra started from this journey of the Goddess. On the occasion of Dashain, in view of good deeds, human beings will also end all obstacles and start a life journey, which will be auspicious.
The great festival of Dashain is accepted as the victory of truth over falsehood, the victory of justice over injustice and the victory of light over darkness. But the importance of this festival is not limited to this.
In practical life, the importance of this festival is also with connecting the family. On the occasion of Dashain, every Nepali gathers in his family and merges with each other. Family members who are far away gather together and forget all the grudges and extend a helping hand to each other and become active in building a new future. The welfare and progress of the family members is everyone’s goal. In fact, this festival also creates an atmosphere of family dialogue where everyone participates in discussions. The Dashain festival has been teaching us this lesson traditionally for years.
One thing must be admitted, this Dashain has not seen much enthusiasm among the general public. The unpleasant situation caused by the floods of Bhotekoshi on August 26 and then the flood of Budhi Gandaki on the first day of Dashain this year i. e. yesterday (October 25) created havoc in Gorkha. Apart from this, there has been a flood situation in other rivers and streams. The families of the people affected by the impact of these floods are still not able to get rid of the havoc of the floods. In such a situation, the enthusiasm of Dashain cannot be expected.
Surely, this country is a common place for all of us to gather and the common Nepali people are members of the larger family. The Nepali people, who are facing difficulties in one place due to natural reasons, do not have enthusiasm politically. Why has Dashain not been able to teach us to unite and unite in each other’s joys and sorrows in recent days? Why is Dashain not able to maintain its traditional importance and is losing its meaning? May this Dashain maintain its traditional importance of uniting the family.
The people of the land of Buddha, the apostle of peace and the great wise Videha, are the opponents of unrest. In essence, the common people of Nepal are peace-loving. But unfortunately, the politics of the last period of this land has become turbulent and selfish. There is no doubt that Nepal and Nepalis have become oppressed due to the short-sightedness and short-term interest of Nepali politicians. If we evaluate the situation of Nepal in recent times, the situation is very sad. The distance between the political parties has increased. The thread of people-to-people relations has been torn. The people have become distant from each other. As a result, it is not unusual to say that national unity has become weak. Nepal and Nepalis themselves should be able to solve their problems. There is no alternative to this.
We should take initiative on our own in favor of peace. The boundaries of identity and identity of Nepal and Nepalis are shrinking. It is not an exaggeration to say that Nepal’s politics is now guided by this stream. Nepalis can solve the current complex problem facing the country and its starting point should be mutual understanding. But it is unfortunate that there is no coordination among the parties for this. The question arises, why are the parties not able to come together? Why is not everyone unanimous in solving the problems of the country? Why does everyone want to solve the problem only at their own cost? The problem cannot be solved by all the forces everywhere. Despite knowing this reality, why are the Nepali political forces busy in the drama of finding an impossible solution? The people of the country want answers to all these questions. May Durga Bhavani be helpful in getting answers to these questions. In this context, the issue of amending or rewriting the constitution has also been raised. This work cannot be possible without an understanding among the parties. In the presence of a new political strategy developed after the Jenji movement in August, the Naya Shakti (RSP) government is in existence under the leadership of Balendra Shah through the parliamentary elections held in February last year. It seems that the government has made efforts to address the problems of the country and the people, but positive results have not been achieved yet. As discussed above, cordial relations between the parties have not been established. It seems that the distance between them has increased. In fact, this situation cannot direct the country and the people in the right direction.
At present, Nepali politics is in a big crisis. The aspirations of the people are problematic. May the distance between the parties be reduced. May the gap between the people be bridged. May an environment of dialogue be created among themselves. On the occasion of Dashain, all Nepalis can be united with each other. If this happens, any problem can be solved and the country can be united.
May this Dashain promote national unity and provide strength to solve all kinds of problems in the country. The journey ahead should be pleasant.
This work is not possible only through the exchange of verbal greetings. For this, everyone is expected to make efforts with their hearts and words. In Nepalese politics, in recent times, the tendency to blame others and become self-reliant has grown. This is wrong. Unless the Nepali parties and leaders do not dare to call right as right and wrong as wrong, the problems of the nation will not be solved easily. It is sad to say that the Nepali parties are not ready for this. Due to the Nepali parties, the entire Nepali mentality is now on the verge of division. The Nepali people, who have been living together for many years, have become distant from each other, which is detrimental to the long-term interest of the country and it is sad to say that the Nepali parties are the creators of this situation. May Dashain provide good sense to the Nepali parties and leaders and play a role in easing the current difficult situation. Best wishes to all.
