On the day of Laxmi Puja, Standard Chartered Bank’s ATM closed
Kathmandu. The ATM of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal’s head office in New Baneshwor is not working. On the day of Laxmi Puja, the great festival of Hindus, cash and other assets are considered as a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi.
Service recipients have complained that they could not transact cash from Standard Chartered Bank’s ATM at New Baneshwor on the day of Laxmi Puja on Sunday. At around
4:00 pm, one of the ATMs did not provide the option of cash withdrawal but only the option of mini statement, balance check, PIN change and the other ATM apologized for not being able to provide the service.
