Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Traffic Police have taken action against 2,722 drivers in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours. The traffic police took action against 46 drivers for drunken driving, 236 for ride-sharing, 181 for red light, 154 for speeding, 342 for lane cross, 137 for road pavement, 55 for prohibiting horn, 56 for getting off and off and 1,515 for others.
Similarly, Rs 27,27,006 revenue has been collected from this action. The traffic police have urged the passengers to immediately inform the nearest police office, traffic control room hotline no 103 and police hotline no 100 if suspecting that the driver has been under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
