Kathmandu. Sarbesh Joshi, the then managing director of Smart Telecom, has been arrested. Joshi has been arrested by the CIB on the charge of criminal breach of trust.
He was arrested from Khursanitar of Kathmandu on Monday. Smart Telecom has been closed since April 2080 due to non-renewal.
According to the CIB, the accused had cheated the government by working with the intention of dishonestly destroying the rights of the government. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
