Kathmandu. Students of Grade 11 at Nobel Academy in New Baneshwor have raised serious questions about the internal management and facilities of the college. Students and parents have drawn the attention of the college administration after seeing a huge difference between the agreement made at the time of admission and the actual implementation.

These complaints about the quality of education, physical infrastructure and administrative transparency have posed a serious challenge to the credibility of the institution.

Main causes of clutter:

Financial opacity: Charging money in additional headings in addition to the agreed fee for admissions and tightening the penalty system.

Lack of skilled manpower: Lack of infrastructure and skilled technical teachers as per the fees charged for the lab and extracurricular activities.

Unstable Educational Environment: Lack of continuity in the teaching-learning process due to frequent changes of subject teachers.

Impact on students and parents:

Mental and financial burden: High financial penalties and mental pressure on even small mistakes have a negative impact on the learning psychology of students.

Health Risks: When lunch is prohibited from home, the food in the canteen is unhygienic, which can adversely affect the health of the students.

Barriers to Skill Development: Lack of a playground and ineffective extracurricular courses have hampered the overall development of students.

Impact in the future:

Decline in institutional creditworthiness: If the college does not address these issues immediately, its reputation in the market is bound to fall and student attraction will decrease in the coming sessions.

Decline in academic results: Teacher reshuffles and incomplete syllabus may have a direct impact on the results of board examinations.

Regulatory Intervention: As parents and students become dissatisfied, there is a possibility that the local government or the Department of Education may conduct a legal investigation into the college’s permits and operating procedures.

This news has indicated that the concerned parties should be responsible for institutional reforms and ensuring the educational rights of the students.
