Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 1,957 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. This has contributed Rs 1 million 78 thousand 500 to the state exchequer.
According to the Kathmandu
Valley Traffic Police Office, 23 people were taken for consuming alcohol, 144 for ride-sharing, 185 for breaching signal lights and 181 for speeding.
Similarly, 87 people were taken for flouting lane discipline, 91 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 111 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 93 for driving one-way traffic and 1,042 for not following other traffic rules.
