Kathmandu. The government is to launch a campaign to voluntarily give up social security allowances. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle gave this information while delivering the budget speech for the coming fiscal year 2083/84.
Finance Minister Wagle said, “We will make the social security system more just and targeted. We will launch a national campaign to connect those who can voluntarily give up the social security allowance to the financially capable citizens. ’
Such contributions will be recognized as intergenerational justice and solidarity of national contributions. Similarly, the government has also doubled the child nutrition allowance provided to Dalit children across the country.
He said, “I have doubled the child nutrition allowance provided to Dalit children across the country and made it one thousand rupees a month. ’
