Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A total of 40 bridges are to be constructed along the Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes Expressway. A 5.4-km tunnel is also to be constructed along the highway. The government has allocated Rs 17.64 billion for the project.
The government has set a target to generate 1,040 megawatts of electricity in the next fiscal year. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has set a target to generate 1040 MW from 670 MW hydropower and 370 MW solar projects.
