Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 1,994 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. A total of Rs 541,502 revenue has been deposited in the state treasury through this.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has taken action against 127 people for consuming alcohol, 142 for ride-sharing against the rules, 149 for breaching signal lights and 103 for speeding.
Similarly, 158 for flouting lane discipline, 130 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 128 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 95 for driving one-way traffic and 962 for flouting other traffic rules were also taken.
