Kathmandu. The first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is underway in Bharatpur of Chitwan today. The closed session of the first national general convention that began on Sunday is beginning today.
Today’s closed session to be conducted by the party general secretary will include statute amendment, presentation and endorsement of various important reports and handing over all responsibilities to the election committee.
According to the published schedule, lunch time is 7 a. m. Party President Rabi Lamichhane will start the second session at 8:30 am. Immediately after the commencement of the session, Ramakanta Rimal will present the report on behalf of the Discipline Commission from 8:30 to 8:50 pm and discuss on it. Party treasurer Lima Adhikari is scheduled to present the financial report from 9:00 am to 9:30 am and hold discussions.
Similarly, party general secretary Kabindra Burlakoti is scheduled to present the organizational report from 10:00 am to 10:45 am and discussions will be held on it.
Joint General Secretary of the party, Bipin Kumar Acharya, will present the statute amendment proposal endorsed by the party’s central committee from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.
After the approval of the statute amendment proposal, the party president is scheduled to present the political report from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm.
