Kathmandu. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the United States has issued a general license lifting the ban on the export of Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals and petroleum products. With this, Iran’s assets frozen abroad can now be used without any hindrance.

At a weekly press briefing in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghei said the US sanction took effect on Monday. He added that the two sides have already reached a concrete agreement to release the frozen assets. Baghei made it clear that there will be no agreement with any party on Iran’s defensive capabilities and missile program.

He also said that Iran has no plans to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect its nuclear facilities, which are said to be the target of Israeli attacks.

Iranian President Massoud Pezeskian and U. S. President Donald Trump signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday. The two heads of state signed the memorandum of understanding digitally aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in various areas, including Lebanon.
