. Nepal Telecom has intensified its campaign to provide high-speed internet and quality telecommunication services in the remote and mountainous areas of the country.
In this connection, the company has commercially launched 2G and 4G service in Kermi of Humla, Jimnang and Bahunbesi of Nuwakot, Timure of Rasuwa, Bhagwanpur and Madhurijabi of Bara.
With the operation of Kermi Tower in Namkha Rural Municipality of Humla district, Namkha Rural Municipality Ward No. Kermi, Chyaduk and Chalagaun of Province 2 and 4, Simkot-Hilsa road section, Tatopani River tourism area, local health units, government offices, schools and monasteries have been directly benefited.
Similarly, 4 school areas in Itahar, Auliya, Belahi, Sirsiya, Kalaiyamai and other areas have benefited from Madhurijabdi Tower in Bara district and 5 school areas in Paterwa, Hariharpur, Harnaiyachowk and Simraungadh area have benefited from Madhurijabdi Tower of Bara district.
Settlements around the northern border have been benefited from the tower at Timure of Rasuwa, while the Jimnang tower of Nuwakot has benefited the settlements of Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality. The locals of Tadi, Likhu and Chaughada areas have been benefited from the construction of 3 and 4 and Bahunbesi towers.
