Kathmandu. The government has decided to form a judicial committee to investigate into the Ganesh Nepali incident.
The meeting also decided to form a judicial committee under the convenorship of former High Court judge Keshav Prasad Bastola to investigate into the incident, according to spokesperson Sashmit Pokharel.
Likewise, Shailesh Raj Kunwar has been appointed as the administrator of Guthi Sansthan.
Here are the main decisions of the meeting:
1. To appoint Judge Basudev Acharya of Tulsipur High Court as the Chairman of the Special Court.
2. Judge Dipendra Adhikari of Surkhet High Court will be appointed as the Chairman of the Labour Court.
3. To appoint Shailesh Raj Kunwar as the administrator of Guthi Sansthan.
4. Waiver of parking, landing and navigation fees and 50% discount on ground handling fees for regular international flights to and from Pokhara and Gautam Buddha International Airport till mid-September 2008.
5. To approve the agreement reached between the committee formed to address the demands of the citizens affected by the unfair transaction (meter interest) and the representatives of the peasants and workers movement against meter interest on July 17, 2008. As mentioned in the agreement, fake documents related to meter interest will be declared invalid as of today.
6. Formation of a judicial committee under the convenorship of former High Court judge Keshav Prasad Bastola to investigate the Ganesh Nepali incident.
7. To completely waive education parity fee and health parity fee as per sub-section (1) of Section 18 of the Finance Act, 2083.
