. Two men have been arrested for cheating people on the pretext of sending them to Cambodia and New Zealand.
Police on Wednesday arrested two persons on the charge of swindling money by promising to send them to Cambodia and New Zealand. The arrestees have been identified as Hari Bahadur Panta, 37, of Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality-7, Dhading, and Amrit Magar, 47, of Sindhuli Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-2, currently residing in Godawari Municipality-3, Lalitpur. Acting on a complaint filed by the victims, Hari Bahadur was arrested from Budhanilkantha Municipality-7 and Amrit from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-5.
They have been sent to the Foreign Employment Department, Tahachal, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
