Janakpur. Police have arrested 2 Indian drug peddlers in Dhanusha.
On Friday
, a team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Bardibas arrested two Indian traders from Mithila Municipality-6 in Dhanusha district.
The arrested have been identified as Santosh Kumar Mahato, 28, and Mithilesh Sahu, 45, of Madhubani, India.
The police fired 1 round of shots in the air to take them under control.
Police have confiscated 95 grams of 590 milligrams of brown heroin from their possession.
Police also confiscated 2 mobile phones, Indian Aadhaar cards and Indian driving licenses from them.
The arrestees have been kept at the Area Police Office, Dhalkewar, Dhanusha for further investigation.
