. In the last 24 hours, the Traffic Police has taken action against the drivers of 1,2090 vehicles.
As of Sunday morning, 96 drivers were taken for drunk driving, 50 for ride-sharing and 51 for using red beacons during a security check conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Sunday morning.
Similarly, 143 drivers were penalized for speeding, 56 for not wearing horns, 21 for lane crossing, 43 for unhygienic conditions and 724 for 25 other one-way crashes, according to the Traffic Police.
