Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Chairman of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has said that his party would not be affiliated to any political party, but was trying to create an environment conducive for bringing other parties on board.
Speaking at a training and party entry programme organized by the Ujyalo Nepal Party’s Dolakha-Kathmandu Liaison Committee on Saturday, he made it clear that the party would move ahead alone and would not merge with other parties at any cost. He said, “The Bright Nepal Party remains alone and does not associate with any party.
Under no circumstances does it match up with any party. Instead, we are creating an environment where other parties will join this party. Many party friends are in discussions with us to join the Ujyalo Nepal Party. The attraction towards the Bright Nepal Party is increasing across the country and this trend will continue to grow. Claiming that the Bright Nepal Party would lead the country in the future, Ghising said that he was the only party that took the country towards prosperity through Green Revolution.
‘You can rest assured. The Ujyalo Nepal Party will lead this country in the coming days. This is the party that will make the country prosperous by carrying out the Green Revolution. There is no need to worry that the party will be lost,” he said.
Claiming that the party’s influence was growing rapidly in Dolakha district and Bagmati province, he said that Dolakha would become the stronghold of bright Nepal.
“Not only Dolakha, but Bagmati Province has reached the stage of becoming the fortress of light Nepal. We will form the government in Bagmati Province and then we will move ahead in the process of forming a bright Nepal Party government across the country,” he said.
Stating that the party would have a strong presence in the upcoming local level elections, Ghising claimed that the Nepal Party would lead the country from the next elections. He commented that although the present government was said to last for five years, there were signs of instability in the last five months.
“Now it is said to be a five-year government, but it seems that the government will last in five months. I don’t think we should wait five years. Therefore, the Ujyalo Nepal Party is now moving forward by establishing itself as an alternative to the country,” he said.
