The first round of talks between Home Minister Sudan and Hindutva organizations has concluded
.The first round of talks was held between Home Minister Sudan Gurung and representatives of various Hindu organisations in Dhanusha district.
After talks for about 3 hours in Janakpurdham on Saturday, a break has been taken for 1 hour. Home Minister Sudan Gurung, lawmakers from Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP), Mayor of Janakpurdham Sub Metropolitan City Manoj Kumar Sah, Chief District Officer of Dhanusha Prem Prasad Luitel, SP, DSP and DIG were also participating in the talks.
Talking to media persons about the end of the first round of talks, Home Minister Gurung said that he has listened to the demands raised by the Hindutva organizations seriously.
He said that not all the demands could be met for the time being. He assured that genuine demands would be addressed immediately.
Janaki Raman, president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Nepal, Dhanusha, who participated in the talks, said that they were firm on establishing the Hindu state as a Hindu state.
According to Raman, Home Minister Gurung has assured that the issue of maintaining Hindu state would be forwarded after discussing at the center. He said the Home Minister was positive towards their other demands.
The next round of talks will be held after 1 hour today.
