There is a need for reconciliation in the country

‘Reconciliation’ is the oldest, beautiful and powerful philosophy of human civilization, a sign of a civilized society. Reconciliation means forgetting differences, resentments or mutual conflicts, coming together, connecting with each other and living together. It is not just a physical agreement between two parties, it is an emotional union between two different minds, different religions, different perspectives and different minds.
It seems that we are living in the modern technology-friendly and materially prosperous era of the 21st century, but today’s human society seems to be happy, happy and connected from the outside, the more it is cracking and breaking from within. Humanity and compassion are also disappearing. The development of technology has made the world a small village, but it has taken the human minds living within the same family far away.
Unnecessary controversies have been raised in the society regarding caste, religion, and ethnicity. In the name of caste and religion, it is seen that abuses and hatred have been spread on social media. It has become necessary to stop it strictly. Today, in the name of religion, clashes between Hindus and Muslims are raging between Hindus and Muslims in the name of religion in Sunsari, in which many people have been injured and four people have died tragically. Such activities have raised concerns and apprehensions that our peaceful society that has come to this point by embracing religious, social and cultural tolerance and co-existence will disintegrate. The gap of unrest and mistrust in the society is deepening. In such turbulent and frightening times, the importance of reconciliation has increased even more. It is the greatest need of today’s era as well as the elixir element of human behavior and human life.
If we look at our religion, philosophy, history, oriental culture and Nepali society, it is clear that our society is standing on the foundation of unity and reconciliation.
Our scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas have always inspired the society to move forward unitedly. The main mantra of Sanatan Dharma is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (meaning the whole world is my family). When we consider the whole world as our family, there is no room for conflict or conflict. The main essence of all religions is the same, peace, prosperity, development and brotherhood. Peace and bliss are the common destination for Hindus, Muslims, Christians. So why fight and fight? After all, if all religions lead to truth, justice and non-violence, then why kill each other? Conflicts, fights and quarrels may satisfy one’s ego temporarily, but in the long run, it only leads to mental disturbance, stress, inferiority complex and destruction. On the other hand, when a person abandons his ego and chooses the path of reconciliation, his mind is calm, positive energies flow through the body, and he experiences real happiness.
The easiest and most effective way to reconcile is through dialogue and forgiveness. If you have a disagreement with someone, instead of holding grudges, you should talk calmly and talk to each other and apologize if you have a mistake and forgive others with a generous heart. Asking for forgiveness or forgiving is not a weakness, it is something that only a spiritually strong and great person can do. You don’t have to become a god, if you just treat each other humanely, then it is certain that there will be no problem.
Reconciliation at the level of society and nation changes the fate and future of the entire country.
For a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and multi-cultural country like ours, mutual harmony and tolerance is the biggest identity and asset. Our forefathers built this beautiful nation by maintaining an unparalleled harmony among different castes, religions and communities. In fact, this country is the most beautiful garden on earth, but now this garden has become a playground for many internal and external enemies. It has become necessary to identify such dangerous games operating behind the scenes on the basis of religion, caste and ethnicity and punish them according to the law.
In today’s time, there seem to be vicious attempts to divide the society in the name of religion, political, social or caste and race. We are facing the consequences of this. We are standing at a critical moment in history. We must always keep in mind that we are in a very sensitive geopolitical situation. We must also be aware that our small mistakes could lead to terrible accidents. Therefore, in such a difficult situation, it is imperative for all citizens to move ahead together by maintaining goodwill by being calm, patient and restrained. Every citizen should understand that our diversity is beauty and unity and harmony among us is our strength. This beautiful, peaceful and vast Nepal will last only when the feeling of deep love and harmony for each other remains alive in the hearts of all Nepalese from Mechi to Mahakali.
In a nutshell, reconciliation is not an external rule or law. It is a discipline that must be followed from the human mind, mind and heart. It is a great mantra of human life. Strife always leads to destruction, unrest, and downfall, whereas reconciliation leads to creation, progress, and eternal happiness, as well as light. Of course, disputes and conflicts are the product of our society, so they have to be resolved wisely.
Looking at today’s social context, in this critical hour, we all should make a resolution in our mind – we will give up our petty selfishness and ego. From today onwards, we will start a new journey of reconciliation by forgetting the old bitter and sweet misunderstandings with various castes, ethnicities, religions, communities and neighbors. We should not preach to others, but by changing ourselves, by becoming an example. When we change ourselves positively, we change our attitude, our perspective automatically changes. As the vision goes, so will the creation, after that our society will automatically become beautiful. May all be happy, may all be free from illness. May all see auspicious things, may no one suffer.
