. In the last 24 hours, the Traffic Police has taken action against the drivers of 93,900 vehicles.
As many as 41 drivers were arrested for drunk driving, 43 for driving under the influence of CCTV, and 53 for using red beacons in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of Kathmandu Valley till Tuesday morning.
Similarly, 87 drivers were taken for speeding, 18 for not wearing horns, 34 for lane crossing, 28 for unspeakable conditions, 28 for one-way traffic and 607 for others, according to the Traffic Police.
