. The Nepal Senior Citizen Health Centre has conducted health check-up of the senior artists.
The Senior Citizen Health Centre in collaboration with Nepal Film Artists Association conducted free health check-up of artists from the health center located at Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital on Tuesday.
Free health check-up program is being conducted for senior members of the film industry above 60 years of age. The service is a joint initiative of Nepal Geriatrics Center and Nepal Film Artists Association.
The program is being organized under the campaign of Nepal Senior Citizens Health Center and will provide free dementia and geriatric health check-up services to the artists.
For free health check-up, one must have an official identity card or recommendation letter from the Nepal Film Artists Association.
This free test service will be available from today (Tuesday) to August 29 only. You have to take an appointment with the health center before going for the test.
Director of ‘Nepal Geria Trucks Center’, which
is established for the first time in Nepal, Dr. Dr. Jagdish Kumar Chhetri has been working with the objective of providing complete treatment to the senior citizens.
He has studied from MBBS to PhD in China, fellowship, work and teaching in various hospitals in France and America.
Chhetri’s educational background and work experience are considered inspiring.
He is the only Nepali to do a PhD in Periatrics.
Dr. Chhetri, who has spent 25 years outside the country in course of study and work, has been providing health services to Nepal by bringing the knowledge he studied and learned there.
His goal is to establish a world-class geriatric institute in Nepal, which will provide integrated facilities for treatment, research and rehabilitation.
