Kathmandu. The deadline for collection of complaints related to corruption, irregularities and irregularities in the Nepal Red Cross Society has been extended.

Organizing a press conference on Tuesday, the Society has urged the public to file a complaint with facts and evidence regarding financial irregularities, corruption and irregularities taking place at different levels of the organization. According to the Society, the time has been extended by 20 days as the complaints were invited within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice. According to the extended deadline, the complaint can now be filed till Wednesday, August 3. KATHMANDU: Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) has adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards irregularities and corruption in the organization.

The investigation process has been initiated to resolve the negative impact on the image and integrity of the organization after various news related to the activities and management of the organization came to light in recent period.

Assistant Professor at Tribhuvan University and anti-corruption research expert, Dr. Giri Shrestha studied the complaints and complaints received.

The team will be led by Dipesh Ghimire. Advocate Yashasvi Thapa and Chartered Accountant Satish Subedi are the members of the team.

According to the Society, if the complainant wishes to keep his or her identity confidential, privacy will be protected. All information and complaints received will be managed in a fair, independent and confidential manner.
