The Everest Climbers Association has lit a lamp at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on Tuesday in honour of renowned Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal Purja (Nimsdai). The Sagarmatha Climbers Association has lit a lamp in memory of Nims Dai, who died in an avalanche at Broad Peak in Pakistan. He died tragically on Thursday after being hit by an avalanche at Broad Peak in Nimsdai.
