Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has urged one and all to move ahead on the path of peace, knowledge and non-violence. Prime Minister Shah, through his social media today on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, said that Nepal should always stand in favour of non-violence and peace as it is the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
“On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Buddha, the greatest promoter of peace, I wish for world peace. Nepal, blessed by the birth of Buddha, has always been in favour of non-violence and peace. ’
Stating that the path shown by Buddha is the path to eradicate suffering, he expressed the view that darkness would automatically be removed with the light of knowledge.
He wrote, “The path shown by Buddha is the path of the removal of suffering. Lack of light is darkness, whenever the rays of light step on, the darkness automatically disappears. Our journey should be in search of the light of knowledge, on the path of problem solving. ’
