According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 65 people were taken for drunken driving, 225 for ride-sharing, 137 for traffic code violators and 153 for speeding.
Similarly, 194 for flouting lane discipline, 58 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 109 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 41 for boarding and dropping passengers at designated places and 1,121 for not following other traffic rules were also taken.
