Earlier, Nepali students brought from China were kept at the same place for 45 days during the coronavirus pandemic.
Stating that the government has taken them here in vehicles from the settlement of squatters in Teku, he said that some squatters are getting food and accommodation even if they are immediately.
Similarly, the government has kept 39 landless squatters in the training center of the Agriculture Development Bank at Santitar, Madhyapur Thimi.
Health Minister Kiran Thapa Magar and Health Secretary Dr Sumitra Gautam have directed the authorities concerned to provide health services to the squatters at the earliest.
Chief of the District Public Health Office, Anjana Khadka, said that a team of doctors from Bhaktapur Hospital carried out general health check-up at both shelters of Madhyapur Thimi and Changunarayan on Sunday and would start health camps, distribution of medicines and psycho-counseling services in both shelters today.
