Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 1,806 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. It collected Rs 1,876,504 in revenue from this.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 77 were taken for drunken driving, 162 for ride-sharing, 106 for traffic code violators and 88 for speeding.
Similarly, 84 for flouting lane discipline, 39 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 77 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 111 for one-way driving and 1,062 for violating other traffic rules were taken.
