Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 1,854 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. It has collected Rs 4.48 lakh revenue to the state exchequer.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, action was taken against 125 people for consuming alcohol, 166 for ride-sharing, 179 for traffic code violators and 171 for speeding.
Similarly, action has been taken against 27 for flouting lane discipline, 104 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 66 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 112 for one-way driving and 1,904 for not following other traffic rules.
