‘Mathrubhumi Fund’ to be set up to invest in fuel storage and AI factories

Kathmandu. The government is set to set up a Motherland Fund to invest in strategic projects including fuel storage and AI factory for three months. Friday for the upcoming fiscal year 2083. Presenting the budget for fiscal 84 fiscal year, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle said that the Motherland Fund would be set up to invest in strategic projects including fuel storage and AI factory.

“We have adopted a policy to set up a Motherland Fund to invest in strategically important projects such as fuel storage and AI factory,” he said. He also said that the government has proposed to increase the state’s capital in the Rastriya Banijya Bank.

He also announced to develop Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Nepal Academy of Medical Sciences and Patan Academy of Health Sciences into educational and health institutions of international standard.

Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle said the medical and health education academies would be expanded and strengthened in line with international standards to enhance quality medical education and health services. He said that foreign students will also be able to teach.
