Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he claimed that the people were increasingly despondent, youths, entrepreneurs and students were losing hope about the future.
“Today, our state is in crisis,” he said. There is frustration among the people. You can’t live in this country, let alone create this narrative. “
Singh said that all political forces should be responsible for solving the current problems of the country. He added that the politics would continue only if the state, people and democracy were safe.
‘Those who are in the ruling party today may be in the opposition tomorrow. It is natural in politics to know who has come and who has gone. But none of us will survive if the state, people and democracy are in crisis,” he said.
He expressed sorrow over the death of Bibek Mandal at Burn Hospital in Kirtipur at around 2:00 am on Tuesday.
Paying tribute to Ganesh Nepali, Ashwin Raut and Bibek Mandal who lost their lives in self-immolation this week, he said such tragic incidents have compelled the state to think seriously. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Rastriya Samajwadi Party President Rabi Lamichhane, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Health Minister Bidya Devi Bhandari have taken efforts for Bibek Mandal’s treatment, he said.
