. A man has been arrested on the charge of murder.
Police have arrested 56-year-old Amar Bahadur Sarki of Chainpur Municipality-7 on charge of murdering his wife Phulmaya Mudel, 43.
Acting on information that Amar Bahadur had killed Phulmaya with a sharp weapon during a domestic dispute, a police team deputed from Area Police Office, Chainpur and Police Post Mangalbare arrested him.
Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
