. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against drivers of 755 vehicles.
The traffic police conducted checks in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Monday morning and took action against 15 drivers for drunk driving, 52 for ride-sharing and 40 for using red beacons.
Similarly, 83 drivers were penalized for speeding, 23 for not wearing horns, 26 for road and footpath, 26 for improper condition and 25 for one-way traffic and 465 for others, according to the Traffic Police.
