KATHMANDU: Devotees thronged the Pashupatinath Temple since early morning to pay homage to Lord Shiva on the first Monday of the month of July. Devotees are standing in long queues to worship Lord Shiva since early morning.
The Pashupati Area Development Trust, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and volunteers have been mobilized for the smooth management of the devotees. According to the Sanatan Hindu tradition, it is customary to perform special worship, fasting, chanting, penance and charity of Lord Shiva on every Monday of the month of Saun ।
