Possibility of rain with thunder in these provinces of the country today
Kathmandu. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind across the country. Also, the monsoon low pressure trough is at normal place, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly
cloudy in the Tarai region towards the afternoon.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate ÷rain÷snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the mountainous and hilly region of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with ÷thunder and lightning is likely to occur at few places of the Tarai region of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at one or two places of the Tarai region of Koshi, Madhesh and Sudurpaschim provinces.
There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.
Likewise, tonight, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region while there will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region.
Possibility remains for brief rain÷snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly and mountainous
÷ region. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of the Tarai region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or ÷two places of the Tarai region of Madhesh and Sudurpaschim provinces.
There are chances of heavy rain in one or two places of the mountainous and hilly region of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
