Pokharel commented that they were suffering because they could not be communists for one side and were victims because they were communists for the other. Stating that no one is free from weaknesses, he claimed that although there are weaknesses in the UML, there are strong aspects of success.
‘The subject of evaluation is a matter in itself. Everything should be seen in totality, no one is free from weakness. We have weaknesses within us, but we also have strong aspects of success. If nothing had happened, there would have been no enemies,” Pokharel said.
Pokharel claimed that the UML was still the target of attack and that efforts were being made to challenge the party’s existence and future.
‘We are still on the target of the attack, the attack is ongoing. We have reached a situation where a challenge is being posed to our existence and our future,” he said.
He pointed out the need for an objective review of why the capitalist and imperialist powers are attacking if they are not the problem.
