Two different scenes seen on the same hill in Bajura district have vividly highlighted the dual form of nature. The flood triggered by incessant rains has turned the water of a waterfall into a black flood and swept away the soil, stones and silt and buried the surrounding fields, causing huge damage to the farmers’ hard work and crops throughout the year. But at the same place, another waterfall seems to be flowing uninterrupted in its natural beauty along with the white water. The serene beauty of nature and the destructive power of nature at the same place is a realistic picture of a climate-related disaster, which presents the serious impact on local life and agriculture in a single frame.
