. Dr. Bhattarai has been sitting in Satyagrah since Thursday putting forth various demands. Talks between government and Dr Govinda KC have begun. The talks started at Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi on Sunday.
The government has formed a three-member talks team under the coordination of Prime Minister’s Health Advisor JP Agrawal.
Dr Amrit Jaishi, an aide to Dr KC, said that formal discussions are underway with the team.
He said that the talks are moving ahead accordingly as KC has taken a clear stance that he will not back down from his demands.
Lawmaker Pukar Bam is also participating in the talks.
