From village to international hospitality leadership to the pinnacle of Nepal’s hotel industry: Kashiram Adhikari’s inspirational journey

Dang. Kashiram Adhikari is an inspirational personality who was born in a simple rural environment like Banhari of Tulsipur-4 and has reached the pinnacle of Nepal’s hospitality and tourism industry. Born in 2034 B. S., Adhikari currently serves as Group CEO of Lumbini Green Hotels and Resorts, Nepal’s leading hotel group. Rising above his personal success, his journey is the result of continuous struggle, learning and deep dedication to service, which is dedicated to the development of the overall industry, human resource building and service culture.

He started his formal career in 1999 at Hotel Sarwana Bhawan in India and learned the basics of service culture from there.

He then moved to Malaysia in 2005 and was awarded the Ritz-Carlton and J. W. He has played a leading role in world-famous luxury hotels such as the Marriott. After Malaysia, he travelled through Singapore, Indonesia’s Batam and Bali (Montego Resorts) to Myanmar, gaining deep and outstanding experience in international hospitality markets, luxury resort operations, and multicultural team leadership.

Adhikari, who returned to Nepal with the intention of utilizing his two-decade-long international experience in the country, has added a new dimension to the hotel industry in Nepal.

In Nepal, he has successfully led esteemed organizations like Hotel The Flamingo (Butwal), Siddhartha Hospitality Group and Hotel Center Point (Kohalpur) as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer (REE).

Currently, he is leading Lumbini Green Hotels and Resorts and has been making remarkable achievements in service excellence, talent development, institutional culture building and overall tourism promotion.

Adhikari, who has a strong leadership philosophy of ‘appointment for right conduct, training for skill, and promotion for character’, believes that the success of the organization is not determined by buildings or capital, but by people with the right thinking. 

He has been providing training and career guidance to hundreds of young managers and is working with a long-term goal of making Nepal the best tourist destination in South Asia.
