‘Gaunthali’ collects Rs 7.42 crore in 10 days

. The Nepali movie ‘Gaunthali’, which was released with the beginning of July, has continued its aggressive business at the domestic box office.

By the 10th day of its release, ‘Gaunthali’ has earned crores of rupees and has firmly established itself in the race of the most successful film of this year.

According to the official data released by the Film Development Board ‘Cinepa: Box Office’, the film has collected Rs 7,42,73,859.14 in 10 days.

With the commercial figures entering the second week of release, the number of viewers watching the movie has also been very encouraging. According to the data, a total of 2,60,254 tickets were sold from halls across the country in a span of 10 days. The film is getting a lot of support from the audience, especially in both multiplexes and single screens.

‘Gaunthali’ had grossed over Rs 1.65 crore on the second Saturday of its release, which is the highest single day collection by any Nepali film this year.

Even on Sunday, the business speed of the film did not decrease and it managed to do business of about one and a half crores. The film is expected to take a bigger commercial hit in the coming days.

‘Gaunthali’ has become the second highest-grossing film of the year on the basis of earnings so far.

‘Lali Bazaar’ is in the first place. Looking at the current business pace of ‘Gaunthali’, it is certain that it will cross the 10 crore mark within this week and become the number 1 film of the year.
