The weather is partly cloudy in the Tarai region of Lumbini Province at present while it is generally to completely cloudy in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rainfall is taking place at some places of Bagmati province and at one or two places of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally to completely cloudy throughout the country today with chances of moderate rain in some places of the hilly and mountainous region.

The Division has urged the general public and bodies concerned to adopt the necessary precaution as the risk of mudslide, flood and landslide may increase due to heavy rainfall and to partially affect daily life, agriculture, health service, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport.
