Bow. The District Administration Office, Dhanusha, has lifted the prohibitory order in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City.
Issuing a notice, the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, said that the decision to lift the prohibitory order was taken as the agitating parties have withdrawn all their protest programs. Acting on a notice issued by Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Luitel, a meeting of the District Security Committee reviewed the latest security situation and decided to lift the prohibitory order issued in accordance with Clause 6 (3A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028 with effect from 5:00 am today. Prohibitory order has been imposed in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City and other areas from 10:00 am on July 30 to prevent possible untoward incidents.
After the agreement reached between the agitating side and the government in recent times, the protest programs have been suspended and the daily activities of the market, transport and the general public have gradually started returning to normal.
Similarly, identity cards have been made mandatory for all the people entering Nepal through the Nepal-India border point bordering Dhanusha.
A meeting of the District Security Committee took the decision to make border security more effective.
According to the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, every person entering Nepal through the border point will have to show identity card compulsorily.
The security agencies have said that the provision of granting entry permission will be implemented only by keeping records on the basis of identity card.
