. Three people have been arrested in possession of narcotics.
Police arrested Suman Bhandari, 31, of Nijgadh Municipality-1, Bara, with 2,690 tablets of Tramadol and 236 tablets of Nitrazepam from Pharping of Dakshinkali Municipality-5 on Monday afternoon.
A police team deputed from the Area Police Office, Pharping arrested him with the drugs.
Police have arrested two persons in possession of 153 grams of brown heroin from Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis-4 on Monday.
The arrestees have been identified as Sushil Bhandari, 30, of ward no. 4 and Arun Kumar Jayaswal, 55, of the same sub-metropolis-10.
A police team deputed from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Nepalgunj arrested them with the drugs.
During the search, the police recovered 425 grams of brown heroin, Rs 1.80 lakh in cash, Rs 2.14 lakh and a pair of digital scales.
Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
