. A meeting of five parliamentary committees is taking place today.
The Finance Committee, International Relations and Tourism Committee, Industry and Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare, State Affairs and Good Governance and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation will meet on Tuesday.
The Finance Committee meeting to be held at 10:00 am today will continue the clause-wise discussion on the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058.
The meeting of the Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee is scheduled for 10:00 am.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the ‘management of supply of cooking gas’.
Similarly, the meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee scheduled for 11:00 am will discuss theoretical and clause-wise on the Bill related to restoring the existing provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 BS and the report of the sub-committee drafting the work procedure draft.
Likewise, the International Relations and Tourism Committee is scheduled to hold discussions in principle with the Ministry on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’. The meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee is scheduled to discuss with the former chairman of the committee, Ram Narayan Bidari, regarding the government’s assurance.
