. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,34,500 vehicles.
As many as
51 drivers were arrested for drunk driving, 71 drivers were booked for driving under the influence of CCTV, and 56 drivers were operated under red beacon in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of Kathmandu Valley till Tuesday morning.
Similarly, 14
2 drivers were penalized for speeding, 41 for not wearing horns, 70 for lane crossing, 21 for not being in good condition, 32 for one-way traffic and 861 for others, according to the Traffic Police.
