. A meeting of six parliamentary committees is taking place today.
The meeting of the Finance Committee, Industry and Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee and Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will be held on Wednesday.
The Finance Committee meeting scheduled for 10:00 am today is discussing the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 BS.
Similarly, a meeting of the Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee is scheduled for 10:00 am.
The meeting will discuss the management of foreign employment.
The meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee to be held at 9:30 am is scheduled to discuss the present situation, problems and solutions of the independent judiciary and justice administration.
The meeting of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee will hold internal discussion on the complaints received in the committee
Similarly, the meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee to be held at 9:30 am will discuss with UNESCO and the Department of Archaeology about the possible heritage sites of Nepal to be included in the World Heritage List.
A meeting of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee is scheduled for 11:00 am today.
The meeting will discuss on the supply and distribution of daily essential goods and services, price control, quality, market monitoring and protection and promotion of consumers’ rights.
