. Following the directive from Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, the monitoring has been tightened to check whether the industries in the industrial zone are operating as per the agreement.
In this context, Continental Component Services Pvt. Ltd., operating in Balaju Industrial Area, has been sent to the Industrial Area Management Limited, Branch Office, Balaju to be present for the discussion.
According to the branch office, various terms and conditions of the agreement between the industry and the management have not been followed and the industry has not been operating the business as per the objectives mentioned in the agreement.
The Office has said that it has been directing the industries to work as per the agreement in writing and verbal from time to time as per the agreement before this.
In the letter sent by the office, it has been stated that the land provided to the industry is for the operation of the industry related to the repair and servicing of vehicles and the activities have not been carried out as per the purpose.
The office claimed that although the registration certificate of the industry has mentioned the purpose of repairing and servicing the vehicles, the work has not been done in practice.
The management had already directed to operate the industry as per the terms of the agreement. It was also warned that the contract could be terminated if necessary improvements were not made within the stipulated period.
According to the office, after the industry refused to accept the letter, the letter was pasted on the main gate of the industry and a notice has been prepared.
The management said that the letter was pasted and formally informed.
During the implementation of the agreement, the management had also disconnected the electricity and water services provided to the industry. Although the industry has expressed its disagreement saying that production has been affected due to the closure of the service, there is a provision to find a solution through mutual discussion if any dispute arises in the agreement.
Following the directive of Industry Minister Yadav, the policy has been implemented to require the industries within the industrial zone to operate their business as per the objectives mentioned in the agreement. The management has stated that necessary legal and administrative process will be initiated if the incidents of breach of agreement are repeated.
In the latest letter, the branch office Balaju has requested Continental Component Services Pvt Ltd to be present at the office within seven days and submit a clear view on the operation of the industry as per the agreement.
The incident of being stuck at the gate after refusing to accept the letter is seen as an indication of the strictness adopted in the implementation of the agreement within the industrial sector.
