. Police have taken statement of Anuj Manandhar, assistant manager of Prime Commercial Bank, in connection with the loan case issued to Smart Telecom. In his statement, Manandhar stated that he had been working as a junior officer in the loan section of the bank since 2011 BS and was now working as an assistant manager.
Meanwhile, a case has been filed at the Kathmandu District Court against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chairman and Director of Nepal Investment Mega Bank on charges of fraud, organized crime and banking offense.
The chargesheet filed by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) after a long investigation states that the property of the smart cell, which has already been owned by the government, was auctioned to the benefit of Ncell.
The statement of Anuj Manandhar, an employee of Prime Commercial Bank, has also been recorded. Further investigation into the case is underway, police said. See his statement below:
