Kathmandu. There will be a public holiday for 5 consecutive days from tomorrow, Friday. The cabinet meeting held today has decided to give a public holiday on September 22 and 23.
The government has also decided to give a public holiday on September 22, Gaura Parba and Sri Krishna Janmashtami on September 2, Saturday as a regular holiday, Sunday as a regular holiday on September 21, a public holiday on September 6 in honour of those who lost their lives in the floods in Rasuwa and a public holiday on September 6 in honour of the martyrs of last year’s Jenji movement.
Schools, colleges, banks, financial institutions, and government offices will remain closed on the day.
