Kathmandu. The government is going to provide free online training in AI to the youth. The National Vocational Training Academy under the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment is going to conduct a free online training on ‘Effective Use of AI and Prompt Writing’ with the aim of providing practical skills related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the youth.
The training will be conducted in four separate sessions on November 18 and 19 (Wednesday and Thursday) from 10 am to 12 noon and 6 pm to 8 pm. Each participant will be included in one of the four sessions. A total of 2,000 people can participate in the four sessions at the rate of 500 people per session.
The training will include the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cloud, effective prompt writing, email and presentation creation, and how to create photos and videos. It will also cover the topic of checking the veracity of the information received from AI and using it responsibly.
According to Ramji Yadav, Minister for Labour and Employment, the training aims to equip youths with skills to effectively use AI technology in studies, employment and professional activities.
Those interested in participating in the training can apply online. Information about which session applicants will be included in will be provided before the start of the training.
