KATHMANDU: The government has decided to promote Joint Attorney General Achyutamani Neupane to the post of Secretary of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP).
Announcing the decisions of the Council of Ministers held on Friday, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dr Bikram Timilsina informed that Neupane has been appointed as the secretary of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons.
The main decisions of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal on October 23, 2083
1. To authorize the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Bank.
2. To approve the Formation of Committee on Registration of Land in the Name of the People Residing in Bitauri Land, 2083.
3. To provide cash prize to the players, coaches and managers of women kabaddi and karate that won medals in the 20th Asian Games held at Aichi-Nagoya of Japan.
4. To promote Joint Attorney of Nepal Judicial Service, Government Lawyers’ Group, Mr. Achyut Mani Neupane to the post of Secretary of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP).
